About the Opportunity

• Audit Support & Execution (40%)
  • Lead and support external financial audit including audit walkthroughs, interim audits, and quarterly reviews by preparing complex audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate and respond to auditor inquiries, perform detailed analyses and support the resolution of audit findings to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant audit outcomes
• Accounting Projects & Technical Support (40%)
  • Support accounting related initiatives such as new IFRS accounting standard implementations (IFRS 18), policy updates, transaction reviews, and special accounting analyses;
  • Perform technical accounting research and prepare documentation to support accounting positions, estimates, and judgments.
• Financial Analysis, Controls & Stakeholder Support (20%)
  • Prepare and review complex account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting calculations
  • Support internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation and remediation of control gaps
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within audit processes
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to Accounting, Finance, and audit stakeholders

About You

• Finance/ Accounting Degree
• CPA designation or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience is an asset
• SAP or any other accounting software knowledge is preferred but not mandatory
• Audit experience with large size accounting firm or within public company environment
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn
• A good team player

Salary Range
$95,000 - $105,000 / year
