Elder Care Provider

We are looking for a kind, dependable person to live with and support our 84-year-old dad in his Collingwood home. Our hope is to help him continue living safely and comfortably in the home he loves, with good company and a steady helping hand. The role includes companionship; support with personal care and daily routines; medication reminders and supervision; dog walks; light housekeeping; groceries; meal planning and preparation; and basic health and wellness support. We would also like someone who can accompany him to appointments, help keep track of his daily and weekly schedule, and keep our family informed about how he is doing. The home has a separate basement apartment for the caregiver. We understand that the right person may also want a part-time job outside the home, and we are open to discussing a schedule that works for everyone while ensuring Dad has the support he needs. We are a warm, involved family looking for someone who will treat Dad with kindness, patience, and respect. Experience supporting older adults, strong references, and a valid driver’s licence would be welcome.
