Job Description

Join the team as a Concrete Construction Worker, where you will play a vital role in parkade restoration projects. Your tasks will include demolition, restoration, and coating of concrete surfaces. You will work with a variety of equipment such as jackhammers, sandblasting equipment, grinders, and scrapers, alongside other hand and power tools. This position requires active involvement in demoing and disposing of rubble, as well as using various concrete coatings, resins, and epoxies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct demolition and restoration of parkade structures.
• Apply concrete coatings, resins, and epoxies to surfaces.
• Operate equipment such as jackhammers, sandblasters, and grinders.
• Perform basic forming and concrete finishing tasks.
• Dispose of rubble and maintain a clean work environment.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in concrete restoration.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with concrete coatings.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Concrete finishing and epoxy application skills.

Work Environment

The hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available after an 8-hour day or a 44-hour week. Expect to work in exposed environments at times, potentially at heights, and in covered parkades.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edmonton, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
