ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND
John Noble Home is a municipally operated long-term care home jointly owned by the City of Brantford and the County of Brant. The home currently offers 156 long-term care beds with a planned expansion adding 40 new beds, bringing the total to 196. We also operate a community-based day program and a seniors’ apartment building. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, resident-focused care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Administrator, the Director of Care (DOC) provides strategic and operational leadership for all nursing and clinical services. The DOC ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered care while maintaining compliance with legislation, professional standards, and Ministry requirements. The DOC also serves as a senior administrative team member and assumes facility administration in the absence of the Administrator.

Starting rate of $57.29 per hour (based on a 37 ½ hour work week) plus benefits and OMERS pension.
