Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Design Lead for a 12 month contract(Temporary full time) whowill spearhead the design leadership of our core products.

They will lead a team of designers to focus on great user experience and product thinking. As a Design leader, they will ensure that all voices are heard in the design process and facilitate design studios and other collaborative sessions to bring the best ideas to life.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Product Design Lead , we’d ask you to do the following for us :

• Product thinking and working closely with Product Managers to define better UX and problems to solve for our products.
• Close collaboration with our cross functional leads to manage design capacity and delivery for the product organization
• Design Operations (Managing tooling and contributing to Design Systems)
• Mentorship and Growth, fostering an inspiring and inclusive environment for the design team
• Scale design team for growth
• Continue to improve and iterate design process and practice
• Contribute to UX and design culture
• Has knowledge to lead and apply native mobile and web accessibility compliance to experiences
• Bonus : Have experience leading and implementing design accessibility to meet industry compliance

Think you have what it takes to be our Product Design Lead ? We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role :

• Strong portfolio showcasing the problem-solving skill and high design caliber; you MUST provide a link to your portfolio (and password if applicable) to be considered for this role
• 8+ years of cumulative product design experience with some of this time spent in a lead or mentorship role
• A degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or other design-related discipline
• Experience running design operations and exhibiting previous product team leadership skills (being accountable to metrics, etc.) are also recommended
