Newrest Montreal is looking for a QHSE Assistant to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about quality, hygiene, food safety and the environment, this is the job for you!!

  • Work with the QHSE team to ensure compliance with food safety, quality and hygiene standards and regulations in the processes defined by Newrest.
  • Implement and apply the HACCP approach,
  • Participate in the development and implementation of QHSE procedures, as well as staff training on these procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance of operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage incidents related to quality or food safety, and propose appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • You will be responsible for tracking and filing mandatory hygiene documents.
  • Monitor non-conformance reports and ensure their timely resolution.
  • You will learn about hygiene failure cause analysis and corrective actions

Perfil

  • Training or relevant experience in quality, hygiene and food safety.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g. HACCP) as well as quality management practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems proactively and take appropriate action in emergencies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cope with changes in the aviation and catering industry.
