Senior Test Engineer - Hybrid

Our client, an innovative global networking technology company, is looking for a Senior Test Engineer - Hybrid to join their growing team. The successful Senior Test Engineer - Hybrid will have extensive lab-based experience testing Network Management Systems using NETCONF/RESTCONF and SNMP and strong experience with Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 protocol testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Optical WDM software, Automation testing, and optical edge transport module testing.

This is fulltime, permanent role based in Ottawa and hybrid, with 2-3 days/week in office.

Lab-based QA Testing - 9-12Y+
Writing Automation Test scripts - 5-10Y+
Network Management System (NMS) testing with NETCONF/RESTCONF and SNMP - 5-12Y+
NETCONF/RESTCONF XML/JSON-based syntax, schema and validation - 5-12Y+
Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 protocol testing - 5-12Y+
Software Version Control using Git or SVN - 5-12Y+
Linux and Microsoft - 5-12Y+
JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar (which ones?) - 5-12Y+
Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science - 3-4Y+

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Optical transport product verification - 5-10Y+
