Part-Time Household Manager / Family Assistant – Waterloo

We’re a busy, warm, and respectful family looking for a Household Manager / Family Assistant to help keep our home and evenings running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a family environment, preparing meals, and bringing calm organization to the day-to-day.

This is a part-time, paid role (Monday–Thursday, approximately 3 : 00–7 : 00 p.m.), with the opportunity for occasional additional hours.

What the Role Looks Like

You’ll be an important part of our family’s routine—helping ensure afternoons and evenings flow easily.

Responsibilities include :

• School / Daycare pickup (must have your own reliable vehicle — we provide booster / car seats)
• Meal preparation and cooking for the family (simple, healthy dinners)
• Light household organization and tidying to keep things running smoothly
• Supporting the evening routine with the kids as needed
• Helping maintain a calm, organized household environment
• Occasional overnight childcare when required (scheduled in advance)

What We’re Looking For

The right person is dependable, efficient, and naturally proactive—someone who enjoys helping a home run well.

You are someone who :

• Has experience cooking and preparing meals for families
• Works efficiently and takes initiative without needing constant direction
• Has a valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle
• Is comfortable transporting children
• Is warm, trustworthy, and organized
• Is open to occasional overnight care when needed
• Enjoys supporting a household and creating a sense of order
