Job description

Reports To : VP OpsJob Summary : The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily manufacturing activities within the production department. This role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining quality, production standards and safety protocols. The supervisor will lead a team of production supervisors and workers, and ensure efficiency and quality improve over time.Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise daily production operations to achieving efficiency and output targets.
  • Monitor production processes and workflow to maximize efficiency.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Manager and Dye Supervisor ensuring smooth flow of required materials and returns
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, ensuring adherence to procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to resolve production issues.
  • Monitor all work orders identifying potential risks and opportunities to workflow
  • Analyze production data and prepare reports for management regarding productivity, costs, quality, and safety performance.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, employee standards and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Skills :
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.Working Conditions :
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • May require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.Salary and Benefits :
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Range between $80,000-$110,000 annually.
