For accommodation needs, please contact at any stage of the hiring process.Visit our Careers at CLBC page to learn more about working at CLBC, what we offer, and tips for the interview process.About the opportunity:As a Policy & Practice Analyst at CLBC, you will be supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies, programs, standards, and practices that promote quality service delivery to individuals and families supported by CLBC. You will be conducting analysis, developing resources and guidance, and supporting policy-related learning to promote consistent practice and advance organizational priorities and best practices.Responsibilities include:Collaborating with the Manager, Policy & Government Relations on policy and practice development, implementation, and emerging issues and trendsSupporting the ongoing review and improvement of CLBC's service delivery model and related policy and practice approachesReviewing existing policies and practices in response to new developments and identifies where updates or adaptations may be required. Developing and updating standards, forms, agreements, processes, practice guides, and other resources that support the consistent interpretation and application of policyBuilding and maintaining collaborative working relationships with CLBC managers and staff and appropriate counterparts in other government organizations. The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze and synthesize diverse information and data and identify relevant implications, opportunities, and considerations. They will also have strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex policy and practice information clearly and conciselyQualifications:A bachelor's degree in Human Services, or related field and a minimum of 2 years' direct experience in social service delivery, preferably within the community living sector, or a combination of transferable skills, knowledge, lived experience, and comparable qualifications for consideration. Direct experience with individualized funding and/or individualized service delivery approaches. Direct experience with community-based supports and services and how they respond to the needs of individuals and families.
