The Turbo Teardown Technician I supports the disassembly, cleaning, inspection and reassembly of turbocharger components and light diesel systems. Working in a fast-paced, team environment, this role ensures parts are properly prepared and meet quality standards while contributing to daily production targets.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks, and a willingness to learn. Mechanical experience is an asset, but training is provided.
This role is based in our Abbotsford location and this role is a fully onsite role.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $20-22/ Per Hour
Requirements
- Disassemble, clean, prepare, and reassemble turbo assemblies and light diesel components
- Perform media blasting and detailed cleaning of parts
- Inspect components to ensure quality and identify defects
- Prepare products for painting and further processing
- Support team production goals and daily targets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned by your manager
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive or diesel systems.
- Experience working with an ERP is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency using computers, scanners and tablets.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
