Job Description
As a Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, modifying, and testing the technical architecture to meet the evolving needs of our organization. You will provide supervision and technical guidance to development teams, ensuring that the solutions align with the company’s strategic goals and industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of the Microsoft technology stack, Azure services, and Python, as well as experience in designing application integrations using Azure Data Factory, microservices, ETL, data integrity and flow, and mobile and web apps development. Additionally, experience with IoT, PLC industrial engineering systems, IBM Maximo, Dynamics 365 ERP, and Salesforce is highly desirable.
Communicate effectively in both English and French with business users to understand their problems and translate them into solutions that respect AIM enterprise principles and best practices.Design, modify, and test technical architectures, ensuring alignment with the company’s requirements.Provide supervision and guidance to development teams, staying informed on emerging technologies and recommending improvements where necessary.Build and integrate information systems to meet the company’s needs, collaborating with technical staff to propose solutions.Inform stakeholders about issues with current technical solutions and provide updates on product development, costs, and budgets.Resolve technical challenges as they arise, assessing the business impact of technical decisions.Lead, build, and implement global enterprise-wide reusable patterns and practices. Create integration patterns and principles, define and enforce governance, and disseminate best practices.Support operational systems and introduce out-of-the-box or custom solutions and applications.Review the technical architecture to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.Hands-on experience with Azure services, Python, React, Angular, Java and designing application integrations using Azure Data Factory.Familiarity with microservices, ETL, data integrity and flow, and custom internal mobile and web apps using React.Experience with IoT, PLC industrial engineering systems, IBM Maximo, Dynamics 365 ERP, and Salesforce is a plus.Strong understanding of ERP and CRM processes.Ability to work with developers to lead and review their work according to the specifications and documented designStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Bilingual in French and English is required.Ability to work autonomously and creatively within a small team to create a significant impactAdditional Information
