Job Description

Operate equipment to load and unload vehicles, transport material, and prepare loads for delivery. Duties include picking orders, replenishment, and putting away pallets in a refrigerated environment (1 – 4 degrees Celsius), a frozen environment (0 - -19 degrees Celsius), and an ambient environment, as determined by business needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for product verification and rotation, completing necessary documentation in a timely manner, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.

We offer pay increases for the next two years, up to $25 / hr. This is a union position with benefits available after 960 hours of being a permanent employee. The role is intended to go until the end of September, with the possibility of long-term employment based on performance. Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse that handles dairy products, with temperatures ranging from 1 – 4 degrees Celsius in the refrigerated area to -19 degrees Celsius in the freezer. The facility promotes a strong community and culture, with up to 230 employees, though the reach operators work closely in teams of 6 – 10 people. Shifts are available as follows : days (Mon - Fri 6 : 30 am - 3 pm), afternoons (Mon - Fri 2 : 30 pm - 11 pm), and nights (Sun - Thu 10 : 30 pm - 7 am). Training will be conducted during the day shift, with pay rates varying by shift : $21.89 for days, $22.89 for afternoons, and $23.19 for nights.
