We’re seeking a seasoned sales professional with proven advertising sales and media agency expertise. The ideal candidate has a successful track record of new business development, including direct sales to brands and collaboration with media agencies and key partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Agency Collaboration : Develop, manage, and grow relationships with an existing base of clients and agencies while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- New Business Development : I dentify new clients and brands to broaden the advertising base with our prospecting strategy.
- Marketing Solutions : Work closely with agencies and clients to understand key marketing objectives and deliver tailored advertising solutions across print, digital, and experiential platforms.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals : Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to conceptualize, develop, and present compelling sales pitches and proposals.
- Project Execution : Partner with internal teams (marketing, production, finance, etc.) to ensure flawless execution of custom content, digital campaigns, and other advertiser-specific marketing programs.
- Reporting & Communication : Provide accurate reporting on budgets, forecasts, and account statuses while keeping stakeholders informed on all aspects of client relationships and project executions.
Qualifications
This role is ONLY open to candidates with :
- 3+ years of media sales or agency experience, including strong expertise in digital advertising.
- Direct sales experience with both clients and media agencies.
- Conversance with new technologies : digital, programmatic, social, and mobile advertising.
Ideal candidates also demonstrate :
- A proven ability to identify key decision-makers and cultivate strong business relationships.
- Established relationships with both direct brand marketing teams and media agencies across Canada and the U.S., with a proven ability to leverage these connections to drive new business opportunities.
- Innovative, entrepreneurial sales strategies to drive new business.
- Excellent presentation, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills.
- Grace under pressure and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus : Category experience and IAB Sales Certification are strong assets.
