Job Description

CEDA is hiring a Junior Project Accountant for our Finance team in the , AB office.

This person will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. If you are flexible and enjoy a hybrid-working model, apply now!

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the key liason, providing financial support for the Regional Controller and Project Accountants
• You will be responsible for effectively communicating project set up and customer billing requirements to all internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance and accurate rates
• Prepare project margin and customer profitability analyses
• Assist in troubleshooting service tickets and issues in our systems (FieldFX and Microsoft AX) to keep everything functioning properly, aligning to project needs
• Collaborate with the team and follow up on any project billing or costing discrepancies as needed
• Assist with month-end duties, including the preparation and review of journal entries and the creation and maintenance of internal reports
• Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in a project accounting or similar position
• Working towards a professional accounting designation is an asset
• Exposure to a daily field capture system is an asset
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
