Adecco is currently seeking a
IT Project Manager for a full-time temporary contract supporting Core Technology Services in Ottawa, ON (hybrid - 2-3 days per week on-site). This opportunity is ideal for experienced independent consultants (IC) with extensive experience leading large, complex IT projects in enterprise environments.
As a Senior Project Management Specialist, you will provide end-to-end project leadership under the direction of the Director, Core Technology Services. You will oversee planning, solution selection, configuration, implementation, and transition to operations, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, timeline, budget, and quality parameters while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment.

- Pay Rate: $115-$150/hour (IC), based on experience

Responsibilities:- Provide project management expertise for all project activities, working with internal and external stakeholders, project teams, and cross-functional groups using proven best practices and methodologies
- Oversee projects during planning, solution selection, configuration, implementation, and transition to operations support, ensuring effective resource utilization and delivery within agreed timelines and performance parameters
- Develop detailed project plans and prioritize work to achieve objectives, ensuring collaboration across teams as required
- Oversee project risks, issues, and interdependencies while delivering defined scope and work plans within established quality and timeframes
- Prepare and present proposals, plans, charts, status reports, and risk logs to support analysis and communication of progress, challenges, and issues
- Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure understanding of client needs and timely resolution of concerns
- Effectively manage and communicate unplanned project activities, including re-planning and recalibration
- Work independently with limited involvement from senior management
- Provide regular project status updates on progress and value delivery to senior management and sponsors/clients
- Ensure all project deliverables, documentation, and required processes are completed
- Perform other related activities and deliverables as required
Requirements and Qualifications:- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Minimum ten (10) years of recent demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist overseeing large projects (40+ project resources over multiple years) in a complex environment
- Minimum five (5) years of experience using Agile or hybrid delivery approaches (Agile/Waterfall) to deliver strategic IT projects
- Strong business acumen, including the ability to identify and communicate value and translate business needs into project objectives and application solutions
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise documentation for both senior leadership and technical audiences
- Proven experience in facilitation and problem resolution
- SCRUM Master Certification
- PMP Certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Bank's functions and core business processes is an asset
- Experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions is an asset
- Experience establishing effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
- French language proficiency is an asset
