Production Assembler

Aerotek is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for our client located in Delta, BC

Key Responsibilities

•Experience with a variety of hand tools in a production assembly / manufacturing environment (wrenches, ratchets, impact guns

• Involves the assembly / painting / testing / shipping and packaging of hydraulic winches

• Ability to read and understand BOM (bill of materials) and shop workorder paperwork

• Ability to operate handheld scanner

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs

• Able to follow specific work instructions

• Able to do repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to adapt to changes in priority upon direction from management

• Able to identify potential quality issues and alert management

• Strong work ethics with a positive attitude

• Demonstrated proof of regular attendance with previous employers

• Supports the team to complete assigned tasks on time

• Willingness to switch between tasks based on production needs

Must Have Qualifications

• 1 year of hand and power tools experience

• Ability to read and follow blueprints

• Forklift Certified (or willing to get it)

• Strong English communication skills

• Ability to lift 50lbs

Work Schedule

• Morning Shift:

• Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Wage

• $19 - $25 an hour
