URGENT: Nanny Wanted - Experienced Child Caregiver Wanted In Victoria, Bc $18/Hour

Job duties :

Look after children in the employer's home

Bathe, dress, and feed children as needed

Prepare formula and change diapers as needed

Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children

Oversee children’s routines, including meals, naps, and other daily activities as directed by the parents

Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment

Teach and guide children in personal hygiene and self-care habits

Support children’s emotional well-being and encourage social development

Apply discipline methods as specified by the parents

Provide age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including games, crafts, reading, and outdoor play

Accompany children to and from school, training programs, and other appointments

Communicate daily with parents about the children’s activities, behaviors, and health while under care

Terms of employment : Permanent and full-time (35-40 hours / week)

Start Date : As soon as possible

Skills requirements (includes education and work experience) :

Completion of secondary school

Completion of a recognized training program in child care

Preference given to candidates with an ECE Assistant Certificate or an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate

Proven ability to perform child care responsibilities effectively
