Pre-Sales Engineer - Architect
Buchanan Technologies is currently seeking a Technical Presales Architect for a full-time direct hire! The person we're searching for will be a forward-thinking, proactive, customer-focused individual who enjoys a wide scope of responsibility and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Do not apply if you do not have any experience in Oracle EBS or Fusion. Overview : The Technical Presales Architect is a subject matter expert in cloud technologies, traditional on-premise infrastructure, and hybrid solutions.
This role requires a seasoned Solution Architect with experience in Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion applications, who understands the strategic utilization of Oracle's tools to architect and implement efficient, scalable cloud architectures.
Candidates must be adept at integrating and optimizing Oracle systems within cloud environments. You will work with our account teams and customers to help identify opportunities and win proposals.
Your credibility in the industry will be demonstrated through face-to-face meetings, whiteboarding sessions, conference calls, and other customer-focused activities.
You will be working with senior stakeholders and IT managers in our customer base, aligning technical and business strategies with current and upcoming technologies.
Responsibilities : Act as a bridge between sales and customers, bringing up-to-date insights on cloud technologies, industry trends, etc.
Prepare statements of work and proposals using your exceptional written and verbal communications skills to scope, write, and propose solutions.
Effectively present and communicate solutions to the customer, third parties, and the delivery teams.Business development with sales and partner resources to support pre-sales activities, with a primary focus on scoping work, creating proposals, creating BOMs, creating and managing SOWs, and contributing to RFP responses.
Qualifications : Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.7+ years relevant industry experience, with a profound understanding of cloud-based solutions.
3+ years in a pre-sales capacity.Broad understanding of cloud technologies and services, including Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud, and Office 365.
Knowledge of server and networking technologies, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server, Cisco, and Meraki.
Experience with EMS / Intune, Skype for Business (including Skype PBX), System Center (SCCM, SCOM, SCSM), and SQL.Knowledge in networking protocols and server / computer hardware solutions.
Experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion applications, including designing and implementing cloud architectures.An insatiable curiosity to learn more about new Microsoft technologies and our customer’s business.
Solid business acumen with the ability to understand the ins and outs of our customer's challenges.Ability to think out of the box when creating solutions to business / IT needs.
Provide high-level technical direction and expertise in pre-sales solution discussions with clients.Contribute to the development of new services and solutions.
Maintain practice proficiency in service offerings, value propositions, competitive solutions, and representative case studies.
Participate in regional technology events to promote services practice, network with industry peers, and maintain expertise.
Some local and regional travel to customer sites.
