Food and Beverage Supervisor

We are looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor for our Golf Resort in the Canadian Rockies. Must relocate to Invermere, British Columbia. The successful candidate is required to work in accordance with our company values.
Seasonal Job - Start March to mid-October, 2026.
Responsibilities:
Reporting and Communication:
- Report to the Food and Beverage Manager.
- Provide regular updates to the Food and Beverage Manager on operational performance, guest satisfaction and employees engagement.
- Maintain open communication with the Food and Beverage Manager regarding any challenges or opportunities for improvement.
Guest Experience:
- Providing culinary experience to our guests in line with our service commitment; Service Beyond.
- Monitoring guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly, ensuring all concerns are addressed efficiently.
- Exceeding customer expectations by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building a relationship with guests.
Team Management and Training:
- Work closely with F&B Manager to train, coach and supervise front-of-house service staff.
- Support ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for staff to ensure high standards of service.
- Work closely with Food & Beverage Manager on weekly staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment, recognizing employee's achievements and addressing concerns promptly.
Operations Management:
- Ensuring smooth operations by enforcing policies and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and enforce opening and closing procedures.
- Ensuring the equipment and work areas are clean, safe and in good working condition.
- Ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment for staff and guests.
- Work closely with Food & Beverage Manager and the Food and Beverage Leadership team in executing events, including small weddings and other functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Inventory and Cost Control:
- Support management of inventory levels for beverages, and supplies; ensure regular stock checks and reorder when necessary.
- Assist F&B Manager with monthly inventory counts on all beverage products.
- Monitor beverage costs, follow cost-control measures, and minimize waste.
- Maintain efficient storage and organization systems for inventory.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED requires. A diploma or degree in hospitality is an asset.
- Driver's license is required.
- Working knowledge of Club Prophet and Silverware is an asset.
- Must have Serving it Right Certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of Food and beverage experience is required.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience coordinating Wedding Events experience is an asset.
- Good wine knowledge or a certified sommelier is an asset.
- Should be eligible to work in Canada full-time.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible hours.
- Able to work overtime is a requirement.
- Able to lift, push or pull up to 40Ibs.
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
