OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / TSR / RECEPTIONIST wanted for a wonderful team oriented Brokerage!

Location : Richmond Hill

Full Time In Office

Insurance Experience Required - 1.5 to 2 years MIN.

Salary : 43k to 50k pending experience

Job Summary : The Insurance Administrative Assistant will provide crucial administrative support to our insurance team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance industry and a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures and will provide reception duties as well. Including but not limited to answering calls, maintenance of office equipment and ordering supplies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the team with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Process insurance applications, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Maintain and update client files and records in our database.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Prepare and distribute insurance documents and reports.
  • Handle client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, terms, and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
