Client Services Coordinator – Senior Helpers Okanagan
Senior Helpers Okanagan has an immediate opening for a Client Services Coordinator to support our clients, caregivers, and care team.
If you’re a registered HCA, PSW or experiences caregiver with strong communication skills and experience in senior care, this is a meaningful role with room to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Client Services Nurse and Client Services Supervisor with client assessments and care‑plan development when needed
- Support ongoing communication with clients and families
- Supervise and support caregivers; help resolve issues as they arise
- Manage caregiver shift schedules to ensure reliable coverage
- Provide direct care when needed to maintain continuity for clients
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Handle client inquiries and concerns
- Assist with caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and company policies
- Support community outreach and relationship‑building efforts
What You Bring
- Registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Completion of a recognized HCA program
- 2+ years experience in senior care or a similar role
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; WellSky experience is an asset
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends
