Position : Account Manager, Health

Location : The ideal candidate needs to be located in the Greater Montreal Area

Territory : Eastern Canada (mainly Quebec region)

Status : Full-time,Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, genuine, and motivated Account Manager to cover the Eastern Canada region for our Health, Pharmaceuticals & Supplements group. This position reports to the Sales Manager for Health, Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, enabling them to maintain and grow an established territory. This role requires regular travel within the assigned region to promote Quadra's products and services. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic, team-oriented sales plan, grounded in a deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs.

What would be your main responsibilities as an Account Managers :

  • Developing sales with both new and existing customers in addition to maintaining existing customers in the sales territory
  • Manage key customer relationships, in line with Quadra’s core values and strategic vision.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and margin objectives
  • Develop and utilize internal and external resources, showcasing Quadra’s reputation for service excellence
  • Sell Quadra’s superior product line to potential customers through routine customer visits on site and virtual, joint calls and participation in industry events
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and identifying optimization opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities
  • Utilize proven presentation and written communication skills
  • Adapt quickly to a complex and rapidly changing environment
  • Manage tight deadlines and handle after-hours emergencies
  • Identify and qualify key decision-makers and assess their need
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract terms
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to secure repeat and new sales
  • Conduct cold calls to potential customers
  • Write weekly reports and manage planning efficiently
  • What are the qualifications and key skills required to succeed in this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or Biological Sciences
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills in French and English
  • Minimum 5 years directly related sales experience in the Pharmaceutical, Supplements, Personal Care or Food industry
  • Willingness to travel 30% of the time (with some overnight)
  • Advance skills with Office tools, including Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce would be considered an asset)
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Valid passport & driver’s license
  • Passionate, creative, and results-oriented
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Able to create and maintain strong relationships.
  • Optimistic and inquisitive, with a proactive attitude
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills
