Parts Clerk

Our client, a distributor of recreational vehicles and accessories, is seeking a parts clerk for their service center located in Chateauguay.

Work location : Châteauguay, on-site

Salary between $17 and $25 depending on experience

Full group insurance after 3 months

Schedule : Monday to Saturday (rotating Saturdays and evenings : Thursday and Friday)

Responsibilities and tasks :

• Provide excellent customer service
• Demonstrate a constant commitment to meeting customer needs
• Be able to handle customers who are concerned or uncertain about their purchases, either in person or over the phone
• Be informed of upcoming promotions, specials, and events in the store
• Order parts as quickly as possible from authorized suppliers
• Manage returns and warranties
• Stock shelves and displays
• Manage inventory and all other related tasks (cleaning, restocking, merchandising, inventory)
• Knowledge of the recreational / boating industry is an asset
• Experience with microfiche research is an important asset
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision to accomplish daily tasks, have good interpersonal skills and provide impeccable customer service
• Experience in a comparable parts position is an asset
