Priority will be given to individuals with experience performing maintenance on industrial equipment.Previous experience being a Millwright, Millwright Apprentice, Machinist or Mechanic would be considered a strong asset.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for troubleshooting and repairs of machinery to minimize down time
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery as per PM program and record any abnormal conditions or failures
• Record and document time, work order completion information and parts usage onCMMSwork order system
• Create work orders and assist in the planning of jobs and projects, order parts and report parts usage and inventory levels
• All work performed and completed may require skills such as electrical troubleshooting, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, welding, fabrication, and other areas as needed
• Must practice good communication skills with Maintenance Team Members, Production Supervisors and Management
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Maintain clear and concise documentation
• To be a part of the performance review processes
• Follow and aid in enforcing the safety rules and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
