What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead and manage a team of field-based Safety Professionals in providing health and safety advisory and support during construction execution
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of safety programs aligned with project goals
• Provide subject matter expertise on safety systems, including contractor safety management and performance monitoring
• Develop effective corrective actions following safety events or observations
• Contribute to the strategic goals and initiatives of the Projects Safety team

What is Required (Qualifications)

• University degree, diploma, or certification in Occupational Health (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 7 years of professional work experience, preferably in heavy industrial construction safety within the Oil and Gas sector
• Proven experience leading field-based contracted safety teams on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of contractor safety management systems and performance metrics
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of basic project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of hazard management, including energy-based hazards
• Demonstrated ability to analyze safety events and implement corrective actions
