Job description

Our client within professional services requires a HR Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in HR, with a mix of both HR operations and strategy. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including but not limited to : employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and transactional HR activities. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator and problem solver who can effectively work with all levels of employees to maintain a positive work environment and ensure that our HR practices align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Partner with the leadership team to identify and address HR issues and opportunities.
  • Consult and support our partner companies on HR matters and risks
  • Work with managers to develop job descriptions and performance metrics.
  • Conduct employee surveys and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to HR.
  • Manage employee relations and provide support to employees regarding HR-related issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary action.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Oversee the administration and processing of payroll, employee benefits, time off requests and maintain accurate employee records
  • Manage the performance evaluation process and provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans
  • Coordinate and conduct recruitment activities, new employee orientation and onboarding activities
  • Stay up-to-date on HR best practices and trends to ensure compliance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Post Secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a mix of HR operations and strategic advisory
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and other HR-related software
  • HR and / or Payroll designation preferred
