Hi! We're Yael, Leo, and 10 month old boy, Safi. We are looking for someone to nurture and guide this already wonderful boy once Yael goes back to work after a year long maternity leave. Hours: We're looking for 25-30 hours per week, and potentially more depending on your interest. We have some flexibility in determining exact hours and days of the week. Live In vs. Live Out: We are open to live-out, but we do have a beautiful one-bedroom suite on the first floor of our home. It looks out into the backyard with plenty of sunlight, a private kitchen, in-suite laundry and separate entrance. We are located in Calgary's central NW near SAIT and Confederation Park. Pay: Negotiable depending on previous experience and live-in vs live out. What We're Looking For: We are looking for an engaged and conscientious caregiver for Safi. We like him to spend lots of time outside, learning, and playing. At this young age, we do not give him any screen time, and prefer to make his food ourselves. We are big fans of Montessori education. Mostly, we want Safi to spend his days with someone kind who cares about him and his development. Expectations: - Feeding him healthy meals - Making Safi's food if we haven't had the time - Playtime with a focus on age-appropriate education. A mix of free play and planned activities as he ages. - Diaper changes - An outing a day whether it is a walk to the park, zoo, library, etc. - Helping him develop emotionally through patience, leading by example and genuine care. - Honesty and transparency.
