Department Overview

Our Hazardous Materials team is dedicated to creating safer environments by identifying, managing, and mitigating risks associated with hazardous substances in buildings and workplaces. From asbestos and mould to lead and PCBs, we provide expert assessments and solutions that protect health and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Your Role and Action

• Perform hazardous materials assessments on various building types
• Conduct on-site inspections during demolition or hazardous material removal
• Investigate mould, indoor air quality, water loss, microbial, Legionella, and infection control issues
• Collect and analyze environmental samples, including air and PCM analysis
• Prepare detailed technical reports with recommendations for clients
• Liaise with clients and contractors; schedule inspections and maintain relationships
• Assist with proposals and oversee hazardous materials projects, including abatement work
• Ensure safety and well-being of workers and building occupants on all projects
