I have an elderly father, who has dementia and requires some extra care. He is a very happy and quiet person. The main duties would be to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner and administer bubble pack medication. Other duties would include bath supervision, dishes, sweeping, mopping and laundry. The hours that I usually scheduled through home care were 9:30 am - 11:30 am and 3:00 pm - 5 pm. The candidate must be comfortable with pets, as there are cats and a rabbit in the household. Very tame and happy pets, who may also require to be fed. It is possible that I might go out of town and require weekend assistance. This would not be required, however the worker in the home would have the option of taking on the extra work. Preference would be given to those who speak French, as my dad has troubles with English lately. If this is a job that interests you please let me know.
