Job Description

The Warehouse Worker accurately picks and prepares customer orders, organizes inventory, and ensures all products are properly labeled and ready for shipment. This role focuses on hands-on order picking at ground level, maintaining well-organized shelves and racks, and using RF scanners to support efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders by hand with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organize shelves and racks to maintain a clean, efficient, and easy-to-navigate warehouse layout.
• Bag loose quantities of product to ensure they are secure and ready for shipment or storage.
• Check barcode labels to ensure they are readable and correctly applied to products and packages.
• Use RF scanners to locate, pick, and track inventory within the warehouse.
• Support inventory control by stocking items in the correct locations and updating inventory counts as needed.
• Follow work orders to complete picking and stocking tasks according to priority and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at ground level, adhering to warehouse safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with general production and warehouse tasks as assigned to support overall operations.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of warehouse experience in a similar hands-on role.
• At least 2 years of RF scanning experience in a warehouse or inventory environment.
• Proven order picking experience with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with inventory, stocking, and general production tasks in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to use RF scanners to locate, pick, and track inventory.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and basic documentation.
• Strong organizational skills to keep shelves, racks, and work areas orderly.
• Capability to work on ground-level tasks throughout the shift.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, bright, and open warehouse designed to support safe and efficient operations. Work is performed at ground level, with regular use of RF scanners and standard warehouse equipment. The schedule runs from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, providing an afternoon-to-evening shift structure.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vaughan, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.92 - $19.92/hr.
