Job descriptionHi, my name is Peter! I love to be around other people, being busy and engaged, and learning new things. I enjoy spending time outside, especially in nature, and I love listening to music. I also love shooting hoops, swimming, and being physically active. I notice all sorts of things around me, I have an amazing memory and a great sense of humour. People who know me love it when I laugh, and when they can help me figure out something new. I am 23 years old, and enjoy volunteering and being active both inside and outside. I have autism, intellectual disability, communication disorder and ADHD. I am supported by an amazing team of inclusion support workers who help me become more independent, and build a life for myself in community. Starting September 8, 2026, a minimum of two shifts/week, which could consist of: Weekdays 8:30am-1pm and/or 1-6pm Weekends ~10am-3pm There is also the option to pick up occasional shifts throughout the week, as needed. JOB DESCRIPTION In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team of support workers, as well as a member of Peter’s person-centered planning community. Your role is to support Peter to engage and participate in a wide range of community activities, including recreation, physical fitness, volunteer and employment. This will involve learning about and understanding what his goals are, and facilitating his activities and connections in community.
