Hiring for a new nanny for 3 children - aged 4,7,9. This position requires love, patience and respect for children. The successful applicant will be expected to encourage the children to be independent and model for them appropriate manners and behaviors. The successful applicant will also lead children in play activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth following the philosophies of Montessori. Compensation based on education and experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited to: -Spark imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day. -Guide children in self-motivated learning, helping stimulate their natural desire to learn. -Be responsible for caring and safe environment for the children. -Providing snacks and meals each day -Assisting children with toileting and potty training -Light Housekeeping - laundry, meal prep and tidying of play area daily -school pickup -homework and children chore assistance Requirements: -2 Year Experience with babies, Toddlers or Preschoolers -Ability to lift a min. of 40 lbs especially when working with infants and toddlers Evidence of Criminal Record Clearance, including Vulnerable Sector Search, within past 6 months -current First Aid certification, including infant -drivers license and vehicle -Review of driving record to ensure safe driving record Assets Education degree, ECE or Montessori Certificate or currently completing Schedule: PT Monday to Friday days Sept - June. (general hours 1-4:30pm) - 2-3 days a week PT Availability Mon-Fri in July and August would be an asset Saskatoon Elementary School PD day availability from 8-4:30 would be an asset Note: We have a Labrador Retriever- therefore applicants must be ok with a pet friendly home.
