Job description

The Opportunity :

SP Data Digital is assisting our partner in hiring multiple cleaners for different locations in Ontario : Sudbury, Cambridge, St. Thomas, and Aurora.

We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a friendly demeanor, and a strong work ethic. These positions are full-time only.

Job Duties :

  • Perform basic cleaning tasks inside and outside of the building.
  • Clean and disinfect all surface areas, which include dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
  • Clean restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Remove garbage and recycling from common areas.
  • Sweep and mop common areas as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • Must have reliable transportation or a valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of commercial cleaning experience is required.
  • Able to work effectively both in a team and independently.
  • Must have an eye for detail and take pride in the quality of work.
  • Must be able to provide or submit a police record check (OPP or equivalent) prior to starting employment.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
