Hello! Our family in Chetwynd, British Columbia is in need of a part-time nanny to care for our special needs 16 year old child after school. The position is a live-out role and requires someone with CPR certification. The primary responsibility will be to look after our child after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being. We are offering $20.00 per hour for the right candidate. She would require being picked up from the highschool at 245pm and cared for until i am finished work (445pm). The ideal candidate will have experience working with special needs child in there teens, be reliable and trustworthy, and have a genuine love for childcare. As part of the role, you will be responsible for engaging the children in recreational activities, cuddling, toiletting, preparing snacks, and assisting with light household duties related to the child. She is non verbal, she can walk and can eat without assistance. This role is for monday thru wednesday 245-445pm excluding stats but can work into more time if it is the right fit as we could use some time to ourselves on other days.
