Job description

Hays is working with a leading multifamily builder specializing in 4-6 storey wood frame constructions. They are committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable, and innovative housing solutions. They are seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team and contribute to their mission of building better communities.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multifamily construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of wood frame construction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage multifamily construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in multifamily construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing 4-6 storey wood frame projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
