Job Title: Production AssemblerJob DescriptionThe Production Assembler plays a key role in manufacturing medical devices on a fast-paced production line and in a cleanroom environment. This position involves working at multiple assembly stations, following written instructions in English, using small hand tools, and collaborating closely with a large, diverse team to meet continuous production goals. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, and comfort working under time-sensitive conditions.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a production team to complete medical device assembly orders on a fast-paced line.
- Rotate through approximately 12 assembly stations, becoming fully trained on all stations over 2–3 months.
- Follow detailed written instructions in English to assemble units using small hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.
- Handle and assemble small pieces and parts with precision and care to ensure product quality.
- Work both alongside team members and independently at assigned stations, maintaining consistent output.
- Maintain pace with the production line to prevent bottlenecks and ensure continuous product flow.
- Perform cleanroom duties on a rotating schedule, including an initial full week in the cleanroom as needed.
- Stand for the entire shift while in the cleanroom to label products, seal packaging pouches, and complete other assigned tasks.
- Wear provided cleanroom and protective garments, including a heavy jacket when required.
- Use basic computer skills to follow instructions, record information, or complete required tasks as directed.
- Lift up to 30 pounds on occasion, using proper techniques and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Comply with all cleanroom requirements, including restrictions on cosmetics, hair products, perfumes, aftershaves, fingernail polish, fake nails, and jewelry.
- Remove all jewelry, including earrings, rings, bracelets, and watches, before working on the production floor or in the cleanroom.
- Follow all production floor rules, including no eating or drinking and no phones, videos, or pictures on the production line.
- Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, to understand instructions and collaborate with team members.
- Discuss any skin infections or conditions in advance to ensure compliance with cleanroom health and safety standards.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new tasks quickly.
- Maintain high attention to detail to ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all internal policies, including working within the defined contract period.
Essential Skills- Valid visa with at least 2 years remaining from the date of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced production line environment.
- Comfortable working under a 1-year contract in accordance with internal policy.
- Experience using small basic hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers for assembly tasks.
- Ability to work with small pieces and parts during detailed assembly work.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift, including extended periods in the cleanroom.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Basic computer skills, with the ability to complete testing during screening if required.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and reading, with the ability to pass language assessments.
- Willingness and ability to work in a cleanroom environment with strict contamination controls and attire requirements.
- Capacity to work quickly while maintaining high attention to detail on a continuous production line.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Soldering experience, particularly in an assembly or production setting.
- Printed circuit board (PCB) assembly experience in a highly regulated work environment.
- Ability to read detailed soldering instructions, match numbers to wires, and perform accurate soldering work.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to different stations and processes.
- Strong, positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
- High level of focus and pride in contributing to the production of quality medical devices.

Work Environment
This role is based on a second-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. The production floor is clean, well-maintained, and supports a diverse workforce of approximately 60 people. The culture is team-oriented, hardworking, and focused, with a strong sense of pride in building high-quality products and embracing all backgrounds. The dress code is casual, but cleanroom requirements are strict: cosmetics such as makeup, mascara, eyeliner, hair products, aftershaves, perfumes, fingernail polish, and fake nails are not permitted; all jewelry including earrings, rings, bracelets, and watches must be removed. Because cleanroom work occurs on a rotating schedule and is not guaranteed on specific days, these restrictions apply throughout the shift. Team members stand for most of the shift, especially in the cleanroom, and may wear a provided heavy jacket when needed. Eating and drinking are not allowed on the production line, and phones, videos, and pictures are prohibited in production areas to maintain safety and confidentiality. The environment is structured, fast-paced, and highly regulated, offering clear processes and expectations for success.
