In this role, you’ll provide excellent service to our customers while maintaining and organizing the yard and warehouse areas.

This is a hands-on role with a variety of responsibilities, perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction and physical work.

Key Responsibilities Propane Handling : Fill propane cylinders and prepare tanks for customers with safety and precision.

Inventory Management : Receive and organize deliveries; conduct monthly and weekly yard counts to maintain accurate inventory.

Yard & Warehouse Maintenance : Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, outbuildings, and yard. Tasks include cutting grass, shoveling snow, and maintaining overall site aesthetics.

Customer Support : Provide outstanding service to customers, ensuring a positive experience every time. Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and participate in required training programs, including PTI 100-1 Propane Pump Attendant Certification, WHMIS, TDG, First Aid, and Forklift training.

Team Collaboration : Attend monthly staff meetings and take on other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor. Qualifications and Skills Communication : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.

Time Management : Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently. Teamwork : Works well in a team environment and independently.

Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with propane cylinders and fittings is an asset (training will be provided). Licensing : A valid driver’s license is required Avenir Energy is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
