The Opportunity

• Maintain the grounds surrounding the building ensuring it is safe and aesthetically pleasing
• Manage and conduct daily weekly and monthly inspections/checks
• Assists with moving and storage of supplies and equipment
• Report on equipment malfunctions
• Maintain and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating cooling ventilation plumbing electrical systems etc.
• Performs other routine maintenance such as painting drywall repair etc.
• Contact and follow-up with contractors technicians and service representatives utilized by the organization when necessary
• Available for emergency calls
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

• Knows basic carpentry welding furnace repair small appliance repair and safety regulations
• Must be self directed dependable conscientious and lead by example
• Ability to organize and complete assigned workloads
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties
• Able to work as part of a team with other Department
• Previous maintenance experience is an asset
• Must posess a valid drivers licence
• Must be double vaccinated
• Must be able to provide a clear criminal record/vulnerable sector search
