PSI Engineering manufactures and integrates automated pack and sortation systems for high volume warehouse and distribution centers who serve the business to consumer (B2C) market, drastically improving throughput and accuracy while reducing labor costs.
The Commercial Manager (CM) is responsible for both Capital and After Market sales commercial documentation and standard operating procedure, ensuring accurate order execution success. In this role you will manage the commercial process to ensure accurate delivery of sales proposals, ensuring urgency in customer communication and confirm effective order entry to operations and service execution.
Duties And Responsibilities :
- Lead on sales to operations handover process
- Entering sale orders into ERP
- Aftermarket Margin & Pricing control
- Reporting on aftermarket execution status internally & externally
- Assistance with optimizing procurement & inventory processes
- Develop, edit and implement standardized proposals.
- Be a proponent of change management – drive urgency in sales booking process.
- Ensure customer contract requirements are approved, confirmed and communicated.
- Maintain appropriate records related to all areas of sales projects.
- Build and maintain a professional working relationship with customers.
- Resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Establish communication channels and distribute key project information to provide a communication bridge between the sales, project team and the Customer.
- Capture, project cost & Gross Margin prior to sales team confirming order.
- Ensure proposal conform to standard specifications, terms and conditions, escalate non-standard to senior management approval
- Collaborate with Functional Managers to transfer new order entry according to standard
- procedures
- Other duties as required relevant to the role or assigned by the manager.
