Reporting to the Organizational Development and Change Manager, the Organizational Development Consultant plays a pivotal role in transforming the future of healthcare! Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organizational development theory, methodologies and tools, including change management, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
- Aligns Leadership Development initiatives with Organizational Development programming.
- Ability to assess, design, plan, implement and evaluate new innovative organization-wide development strategies and programs, including research materials, resources, presentations, and facilitation.
- Implements programs, tools and technologies to embed employee engagement and recognition within the culture and enhance leadership capabilities.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relations and communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
- Partner with internal communication to develop engaging and effective communication plans to support programs.
- Expertise in competency-based performance systems and talent development strategies.
- Coach, facilitate, and present to diverse audiences with confidence.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Organizational Development, Adult Education, Human Resources or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.Certification in change management (PROSCI), coaching / facilitation, training, Crucial Learning products, the DiSC Everything tool, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, EQ-i 2.0 is an asset.Advanced level facilitation skills for small and large groups required; experience in delivering soft skills training virtually and in a classroom setting.Minimum of five years of demonstrated successful experience in Organizational Development or related role.Knowledge and experience working in a health care inter-professional service model strongly preferred.Advanced MS Office applications.
