Notion Studios is looking for an experienced Resource ManagerOur ideal candidate is someone we can depend on to roll up their sleeves, get things done while juggling a fast-paced schedule and ensuring deadlines are hit on time, every time.A Resource Manager at Notion will oversee, support, and manage the delivery of projects through our talented team of writers, designers and developers. They will need to understand and assess the timing of both creative and production projects to schedule efficiently and effectively with the appropriate team members. They will be the relationship manager between the Creative (Design / Production) Team and the Project and Account Teams.Candidates must be in the Greater Toronto Area. This is a hybrid role.What we’d like to see from you : -       5+ years’ experience as a Resource Manager (or similar role) in an advertising agency.-       Skilled at Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications.-       A “can do” attitude. We move FAST which means our timelines can be tight.-       Flexible in managing multiple projects, requiring different skills, deadlines, and budgets.-       Your attention to detail, information retention, and multi-tasking skills are unparalleled.Daily responsibilities : Resource Allocation and Scheduling- Manage and assign appropriate talent resources to projects based on availability, skill sets, and project needs.- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring that timelines are met without overloading resources.- Coordinate with Project Managers, Creative Teams, and department leads to ensure resource requirements are clearly understood.Team Coordination and Communication- Act as the main point of contact for resource requests and ensure communication between departments is streamlined.- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to ensure resource-related issues are identified and addressed early.- Monitor team capacity and workload to prevent burnout and ensure an optimal balance of work.Resource Forecasting and Planning- Analyze current and future resource demands based on project pipeline and anticipated workloads.- Proactively identify potential resource gaps and work to resolve them.Budget and Cost Management- Ensure resources are utilized efficiently to stay within project budgets and timelines.- Implement strategies to optimize resource performance and improve studio efficiency.Studio Operations Support- Collaborate with studio management to maintain an efficient and productive working environment.About Notion StudiosWe’re a small and mighty creative agency – with a deep foundation of industry know-how, plugged into a passion for functionally beautiful design.
