Location: This role is fully onsite in our Montreal, QC office. (1 day/week in office)

About the role

As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will oversee a team of sellers consulting with clients and selling Insight’s products and services. You will provide team guidance and best practices to help your teams be their best for their clients, their teammates and the organization. Along the way, you will get to:

  • Be responsible for a team of sales professionals and provide the direction, coordination, and evaluation within the respective market segment.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of Insight by consistently achieving sales goals, finding creative ways to grow market share and execute strategic forecasting and budget associated with sales activities.
  • Keep open communication channels with top clients, sales management and your team of sellers regarding sales leads, market challenges, and competitive activity.
  • Provide hands-on coaching, counseling, and training to their team.
  • Partner up with the inside and outside sales reps within Insight’s extensive partner community to actively pursue new business, follow up and help close deals.

What we’re looking for

  • BS/BA with a minimum of four to eight years’ experience in the computer industry calling on accounts.
  • Two years’ experience in sales management, and previous experience hiring, motivating and managing employees.
  • Previous management of a reseller sales force is preferred.
  • Must have a proven track record of success in B2B sales.

En tant que gestionnaire des ventes commerciales, vous superviserez une équipe de vendeurs qui conseillent les clients et vendent les produits et services d'Insight. Vous fournirez des conseils d'équipe et des meilleures pratiques pour aider vos équipes à être optimales pour leurs clients, leurs coéquipiers et l'organisation. En chemin, vous pourrez :

  • Être responsable d'une équipe de professionnels des ventes et fournir la direction, la coordination et l'évaluation au sein du segment de marché respectif.
  • Contribuez à la croissance continue d'Insight en atteignant constamment les objectifs de vente, en trouvant des moyens créatifs d'accroître leur part de marché et en exécutant des prévisions stratégiques et du budget associés aux activités de vente.
  • Gardez des canaux de communication ouverts avec les meilleurs clients, la gestion des ventes et votre équipe de vendeurs concernant les prospects de vente, les défis du marché et l'activité concurrentielle.
  • Offrir du coaching pratique, du counseling et de la formation à leur équipe.
  • Collaborez avec les représentants des ventes internes et externes de la vaste communauté de partenaires d'Insight pour poursuivre activement de nouvelles affaires, faire du suivi et aider à conclure des ententes.

Ce que nous recherchons

  • Un baccalauréat (BS/BA) avec un minimum de quatre à huit ans d’expérience dans l’industrie informatique, incluant des appels auprès de comptes clients.
    Deux ans d’expérience en gestion des ventes, ainsi qu’une expérience préalable en embauche, motivation et gestion d’employés.
    Une expérience préalable de gestion d’une équipe de vente de revendeurs est considérée comme un atout.
    Doit démontrer un historique éprouvé de succès dans la vente B2B.
