Motion Designer

Cella by Randstad Digital is searching for a multi-talented Designer on behalf of our client, a leader in the retail and marketing space. This role is a unique hybrid opportunity for a creative professional who excels at both Graphic Design and Motion Graphics.

You will be responsible for bringing brand stories to life across a variety of mediums—from traditional print catalogues and flyers to high-impact digital assets like emails, homepages, and dynamic social media content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. This is a hybrid role, our client would love for the designer to join their team in their office in Toronto 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities
Conceptualize and develop accurate electronic layouts for emails, catalogues, flyers, and booklets, ensuring all technical standards and deadlines are met.

Bridge the gap between static and dynamic content by creating engaging motion graphics tailored for TikTok, Meta, and Instagram.

Collaborate closely with marketing teams in "pick-up" meetings to translate project needs into cohesive design solutions.

Ensure all layouts translate effectively across photography, copy, and overall brand guidelines.

Source and manage electronic archives and art resources to streamline the production of finished art and new graphic elements.

Provide layout revisions and mock-ups that demonstrate a strong understanding of retail and promotional advertising principles.

Qualifications
Education: A Diploma in Graphic Design or a related creative field.

Experience: At least 4 years of professional design experience, specifically within retail, email, or promotional advertising.

Technical Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD). Experience with Figma is considered a significant bonus.

Motion Expertise: Demonstrated ability to create short-form video/motion content for modern social media platforms.

Creative Eye: A strong sense of color, typography formatting, and the ability to interpret data into visual solutions.

Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a calm demeanor in fast-paced environments, and the ability to work independently while remaining a dedicated team player.
