Job description
We are looking for a caring, reliable nanny to join our family. Schedule: Monday–Friday Hours generally 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Start time may vary slightly depending on commute/transition from school) We are also open to a gradual transition starting with casual shifts before full-time care begins in September, with the possibility of starting earlier if it’s a good fit. About the kids: • Our 8-year-old is fun, independent, and active. He is with us 50/50 and is in school during part of the day. He has ADHD and takes medication. • Our 1-year-old is very active, curious, and on a consistent nap and meal routine. She requires close supervision and is often carried or closely supervised during play. Responsibilities include: • Engaging in age-appropriate play and activities • Outdoor play and park visits • Preparing simple meals and snacks • Diaper changes and supporting nap routines • Light tidying related to the children (toys, dishes used for meals, etc.) We’re looking for someone who is: • Experienced with infants and toddlers (or willing to learn quickly) • Patient, nurturing, and dependable • Comfortable caring for two children of different ages • Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Note: We are also open to candidates who may not have extensive infant experience but are responsible, attentive, and willing to learn.
