Operate fleshing machine

• Thickness control
• Handle various species, such as fox, wolf, bear, beaver, otter, etc.
• Tannery knowledge in chemistry, fur finishing, or experience in skinning
• Shave duties
• Notify supervisor or mechanic of equipment malfunctions
• Operate and feed a variety of machines
• Set up, maintain and make minor repairs to machinery
• Push carts, trucks or cans of fibres from one work area to another
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Investigate machine stoppages
• Assist machine operators and other textile workers as required
• Examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Shave hides to uniform thickness
• Train other workers
• Sharpen circular blades

Salary : $ per hour CAD / around 40 hours per week.
