This role is part of the Enterprise System Management (ESM) department, responsible for managing IT inventory and asset data — essential for regulatory, operational, and efficiency purposes. The position involves participating in a key project aimed at consolidating legacy hardware asset and configuration management systems into a unified ServiceNow-based platform. The candidate will play a dual role, interacting with stakeholders while contributing to the technical delivery of data migration, analysis, and integration efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and analyze business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze data and build data pipelines for data loading, transformation, and quality assurance.
- Support data migration from legacy applications to the new ServiceNow-based platform.
- Measure and ensure data quality across multiple sources and systems.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategy and implementation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and transformation.
- Experience using data analytics and visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Unix environments.
- Experience working directly with data consumers to meet their analytical needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong networking, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in large and complex IT environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Understanding of data governance principles.
- Familiarity with data center and IT inventory equipment.
- Experience working with IT inventory systems.
