Forklift Operator / Material Handler – Edmonton, AB

We're hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, and yard operations. This role involves operating sit-down counterbalance forklifts and a stand-up reach truck to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts (5,000–8,000 lbs) and stand-up reach trucks
• Load and unload flatbeds, trailers, and customer vehicles
• Move, stage, and organize materials in the yard and warehouse
• Complete shipping/receiving tasks, including BOL and packing slip verification
• Pick orders using pick tickets and RF scanners
• Assist with general labour and material handling duties
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Provide professional customer service to drivers and customers

Requirements

• 6+ months of recent counterbalance forklift experience
• Valid forklift certification (Class 1, 4, or 5)
• Yard material handling experience
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and RF scanners
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong safety mindset, reliability, and attendance record
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors year-round

Asset Qualifications

• Stand-up reach truck experience
• Order picking and inventory experience
• Industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
