Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading trailers of products using a sit-down forklift. Additionally, the role involves running a 3PL and may require some hand-bombing and heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. The candidate will also be tasked with reading orders and documenting product locations on the bill of lading. Experience with an RF Scanner is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using a sit-down forklift.
• Perform hand-bombing and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
• Read orders and record product locations on the bill of lading.
• Operate in a 3PL environment.
• Ensure efficient material handling.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience with sit-down forklift operations.
• 2+ years of experience with heavy lifting.
• Forklift certification from a 3rd Party.
• Must own personal protective equipment: Steel toe boots, safety vest, and safety glasses.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with LTL and cross dock operations.
• Raymond Reach forklift experience.
• Experience with RF Scanner.
• General labor, packing, picking, shipping, and receiving skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a quiet warehouse that stores and distributes carpet and flooring products. It is highly safety-oriented, requiring attention to detail. The shift operates Monday to Friday from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
