Overview :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Salesperson & Team Lead to join our growing landscape and snow management business in Edmonton. In this dual role, you will be responsible for driving sales efforts, managing client relationships, and leading a small team to ensure the success of both the sales and service delivery processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend your sales expertise with leadership responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales

New Business Development : Prospect, generate, and close sales opportunities within the Edmonton area, targeting commercial and industrial clients.

Client Consultations : Meet with clients to assess their needs and provide personalized landscape and snow management solutions.

Sales Presentations & Proposals : Develop customized proposals, present service offerings, and negotiate contracts to close sales.

Service Promotion : Effectively communicate the benefits of our landscape and snow management services, promoting seasonal services such as lawn care, snow removal, landscaping design, and more.

Account Management : Maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring repeat business and referrals.

Market Analysis : Stay informed about industry trends, local competitors, and market demand to help optimize sales strategies.

Leadership

  • Team Leadership : Lead a small, motivated team and support staff. Provide guidance to help them succeed and meet their goals.
  • Performance Management : Track performance, and implement strategies to ensure the team achieves its objectives.
  • Collaboration & Support : Coordinate with the operations and field teams to ensure the smooth execution of services and high client satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Strategy : Report on team performance, sales activities, and market trends to senior management. Collaborate on refining sales strategies to optimize results.

Qualifications and experience :

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the landscape, snow management, or service-based industries.

Team management experience is preferred.

Strong understanding of landscape and snow removal services.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and team members.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Skills and Competencies :

Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools

Background in landscaping, snow management, or related services.

Fluent written and spoken English

Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales and service targets.
