Position Information Position Title Aircraft Maintenance Engineer ACA Posting Type Permanent End Date (if applicable) Classification Title FT Support Staff J Pay Band J Min Salary $43.61 Max Salary $50.39 Position Summary Under the direction of Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) and in compliance with the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), the AME with Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) provides a variety of technical and administrative tasks in the maintenance and inspection of the College aircraft and provides support to the AMO and FTU. Location/Campus Thunder Bay Campus Education Minimum level of formal education required for the position Trade certification or equivalent education Specific course(s), certification, qualification, formal training or accreditation required for the position No additional requirements Additional Requirements Field(s) of Study Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, M1 Experience Typical number of years of experience, in addition to the necessary education level, required to perform the responsibilities of the position Minimum of three (3) years Type of Experience 3 years experience as a Transport Canada approved licensed Aviation Maintenance Engineer with a M1 category license that is current and in good standing.

The incumbent is required to have experience with similar aircraft types that are operated by the college.
